This version accepts both KML and KMZ files, reads line segments for the full route, and reads Point placemarks so named splice points can be labeled directly on the map. KMZ files are zipped archives that contain a main KML file and related assets. [web:165][web:166]
Combined route
The tool attempts to order and merge route segments into one path. Splice labels come from named Point placemarks found in the KML, and Leaflet shows those labels as permanent tooltips on the map. [web:1][web:72]
